Why it is different

Skin type is not skin tone. Most skincare forgets that.

Melanin-rich skin reacts to irritation by making more pigment, so the retinol or acid that "works" on someone else can leave a dark mark on you. Artisa was formulated for Fitzpatrick types III to VI from the first ingredient, not adapted afterward.

Medical-grade actives, chosen for your skin

Encapsulated retinol, dual-form vitamin C and ceramides at clinical concentrations, paired so they work without the sting and the rebound pigment that stronger-is-better products cause on deeper tones.

One routine, four steps, morning and night

Cleanser, antioxidant serum, retinol repair cream and moisturizer. A few minutes, twice a day. The system does the thinking so you do not have to.

What to expect, honestly

Most people notice texture and tone starting to change in the first four to six weeks, with the fuller result over eight to twelve. Consistency matters more than anything else.

Before you decide

Honest answers to the questions people ask first.

Will it work on my skin tone?

Artisa was built for deeper skin tones, Fitzpatrick III to VI, from the first formulation. The actives are the ones dermatology relies on, at medical-grade strength, chosen and paired so they work without the irritation and dark marks generic formulas can cause on melanin-rich skin. Lighter skin tones use it too; it was simply not designed around them first.

How soon will I see something?

Most people notice texture and tone starting to change in the first four to six weeks and the fuller result over eight to twelve. Retinol in particular rewards consistency: a few minutes, morning and night, matters more than anything else.

I have had a bad reaction to retinol before.

That is the most common thing we hear. The Renewal Repair Cream uses encapsulated retinol released slowly, with ceramides alongside it, so it is far gentler than a standard retinol at the same strength. Start every other night for the first two weeks, as the routine card explains. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, choose the Brightening Collection, which has no retinol.

What exactly does the subscription do?

It ships the routine every 60 days at the subscriber price and charges your card each time it ships. You can skip a shipment, move the date, change to 75 or 90 days, or cancel at any time from your account, with no calls to make. Prefer to try it once? Choose one-time purchase above; nothing recurs.

What if it is not for me?

Your first order carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 30 days of delivery, send it back, opened is fine, and we refund it. U.S. orders. The full terms are on the guarantee page.

Can I ask a person first?

Yes. Reply to any Artisa email, or write to contact@artisaskincare.com, and a real person from Dr. Truesdale's team answers.

Individual results may vary. Artisa products are cosmetics and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
